Safi

Therapeutic Practitioner, Trainer BSc ,HPD

Safi is a dedicated therapist, coach, and speaker who specialises in helping individuals heal their relationship with food, body image, and the complex emotional patterns that often underlie disordered eating behaviours. With a compassionate and holistic approach, she supports clients in breaking free from cycles of shame, self-sabotage, and internalized diet culture.

Drawing from her own lived experience with binge eating disorder, diet trauma, and life after bariatric surgery, Safi offers a rare and deeply empathetic perspective. Her personal journey allows her to meet clients where they are—with genuine understanding, authenticity, and respect—while integrating evidence-based therapeutic methods to guide meaningful, sustainable change.

Safi is the founder of and host of The Gastric Mindset, and a vocal advocate for compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care. Through her work, she empowers individuals to reclaim their autonomy, rebuild trust with their bodies, and create a more peaceful, connected relationship with themselves.

Whether in one-on-one sessions, group settings, or on stage as a speaker, Safi’s message is clear: healing is possible, and everyone deserves access to support that honors both their mental and physical well-being
